Number nine comes from homecoming this year against Southern Illinois. NDSU led SIU 24-10 in the fourth quarter, in a game that had gone back and forth, the Bison had started to pull away on a great Carson Wentz touchdown pass to Luke Albers, they extended the lead in the 4th, when Wentz hit senior Trevor Gebhart on a 75 yard bomb for a touchdown that blew the game open, leading to a 38-10 Bison win.
